Green thumbs are rejoicing at the return of the popular bonsai garden to the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden this year.
The bonsai garden has been off-site for three years and will be returning for this growing season.

 “They are such cool and unique plants. People are always excited to see them. They’ll be outside for the entire season until we close up the garden at the end of October,” said Eldree Baer, director of marketing and guest experiences for the botanical garden.
