Rodger and Melanie Patton hated seeing barns around the state being torn down and disappearing from the Iowa landscape. So two years ago the couple decided to start taking salvaged materials from those barns and giving them a new life.
“We call it ‘farm cycling,’” says Melanie. “We love giving a new purpose to something that is part of Iowa’s history.” Thus their business — Victory Barn — was born.
