Dozens of Iowa farmers and their families were recognized for their environmental achievements last week during the Iowa State Fair.

Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, Ag­­ri­culture Secretary Bill Northey and Iowa Department of Natural Resource Director Chuck Gipp honored the Iowa Farm En­­vironmental Leader Award winners at the Penningroth Center inside the Cattle Barn.
