Farm frustration being noticed

The frustration farmers are expressing about biofuel demand destruction caused by waivers given to oil refineries is being heard loud and clear in the White House, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Under Secretary Bill Northey said at a roundtable with Iowa farmers last week.
"There’s an awareness that those waivers did some real damage to renewable fuels," Northey said at the Becks Hybrids seed distribution facility in Colfax. He said President Donald Trump has been meeting with top advisors to figure out a way to boost renewable fuel usage.
