Farm bill passes, heads to the White House

Farmers will have more choices and an overall stronger safety net after Congress last week overwhelmingly approved the 2018 Farm Bill. President Donald Trump is expected to sign the bill this week.
The final farm bill conference report, which continues many of the popular provisions of the 2014 legislation, sailed through the Senate 87-13 and cleared the House 369-47.
