As a grassroots organization, Farm Bureau prides itself on hearing members’ voices and connecting them to legislative priorities. This is a year-long process that involves gathering issues from members, prioritizing them across the state, gathering further input via opinionnaires and then translating that into resolutions via county, district, and state level discussions. These resolutions become priorities for Farm Bureau to discuss with legislators each year during the legislative session. The Farm Bureau Day at the Capitol took place on March 18 in Des Moines.
