Thin profit margins in corn and soybean production have become the norm over the past five years, increasing the need for proper budgeting and marketing strategies among crop producers. The latest issue of ISU’s annual Extension publication, “Estimated Costs of Crop Production,” reports average cost estimates for Iowa farms in 2020 and provides guidelines to help farmers calculate their own costs of production.  For more, please click here.
