Due to avian influenza earlier this year, egg and turkey prices are still much higher than normal. Turkey prices for whole hens are almost $1.31/lb, up from less than $1.00 earlier this year. Fresh turkey breast prices have spiked once again and are at $2.04/lb. Weekly egg prices are much lower than the high of $2.74/dozen this summer, but are on the rise once again and are currently about $1.97/dozen.
