Crop insurance guarantees rise

The 2021 crop insurance base price guarantees for corn and soybeans will be the highest in seven years after strong prices in February. The spring price is based on the average of December futures contract for corn and November futures contract for soybeans during the month of February. Unofficially, those prices settled last week at $4.58 per bushel for corn and $11.87 per bushel for soybeans.
