Corn maturity and drydown conditions vary

While harvest has begun slowly in some areas in the Midwest, others are awaiting crop maturation and/or drydown due to several challenges during the 2021 growing season.
As usual, planting conditions and growing environments ranged widely across the state in 2021. Various planting dates and environmental conditions will have varying impacts on drydown and harvest timing.
