America's farmers lost a legendary champion when former Iowa Hawkeye football coach Hayden Fry passed away earlier this week.
Coach Hayden Fry gave Iowans a reason to cheer for the Hawkeyes, and he gave Americans a reminder to rally around their farmers when he introduced the nation to ANF (America Needs Farmers) back in 1985, in the midst of a national farm crisis.
Today, ANF is more important than ever, as fans and former Hawkeye players rally around the men and women who provide for our growing population while caring for their animals and the environment.
Coach Fry didn't just create a decal back in 1985; he created a movement, one that will live on as his lasting legacy.
