People from outside of Iowa — and really many people who have lived in our state all of their lives — tend to think of farming here as about only two crops: corn and soybeans.
But Iowa agriculture is far more diverse than that, as faithful readers of Family Living know. And farming in our state is really becoming more diverse all the time as younger people work to find niche and value-added markets and gain a foothold in Iowa agriculture.
