Will china follow through on large soybean purchases?
Producers in the United States are in the heart of their typical seasonal export window, as new crop supplies are out of the field and ready to ship and old crop supplies in South America are beginning to dwindle following months of good business after their harvest last spring.
The season got off to a slow start, as total commitments through August and September were the lowest in the past 10 years, not counting the 2019 trade war year, but have since picked up steam over the past six weeks.
Current commitments to all destinations as of the second week of November are now seen right in the middle of the pack and are rather normal for this time of year.
