Iowa’s Revenue Estimating Conference (REC) last week projected revenues for the upcoming fiscal 2022 year would be $8.386 billion, or $120 million higher than the December estimate.

The Legislature must use the lower of the two estimates, so it will base its fiscal 2022 budget off the December REC estimate of $8.226 billion.
