The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) announced five new Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) cases on Iowa farms last week as the 2022 outbreak continues to grow, especially in the Upper Midwest. This included the first outbreaks in Cherokee, Guthrie, Hamilton and Osceola counties and an additional outbreak in Buena Vista County.
