2016 Cumulative Precipitation Update

The State of Iowa has been seeing many rainy days, with several inches of rains being recorded in much of western Iowa recently. The Red Oak location is estimated to have received nearly 6 inches of rain since the beginning of April, and Cherokee is not far behind with just under 5.5 inches, as shown on the map. Fairfield and Charles City have received the least amount of cumulative precipitation out of these five locations at an estimated 2.3 and 2.4 inches, respectively.
